About Us

At The Farm Toys  is a dba of Wood Creations, Inc.  We started our woodworking business in 1977 - manufacturing a full-line of unfinished furniture products that were sold to retail wood stores throughout California, and beyond.  Over the years, we've moved away from wholesale  production to concentrate on custom furniture designs and toys.

Our woodshop is located in an historic winery building  -constructed in 1928.    The shop is surrounded by 9 acres of gardens and fields.

ATF's founder and principal woodcrafter is Don Doan - now in his mid-sixties, Don is academincally trained in literature and philosophy, but has been working with wood since childhood - and professionally for over 30 years.
